Going to visit Summer!

Well, we made it to the warm sun in Hawaii. I took the kids to go visit my sister Summer and her darling family. They are living there while Brian finishes school at BYU. We had so much fun seeing their cute kids and playing non-stop. I think we saw and did about everything you could do while we were there. I know everyone thought we were crazy the two of us and 5 small kids. I think I totally wore out my sister. We went to the beach a lot, but I really wanted my kids to see what there was in Hawaii. We spent a Sunday afternoon walking around the Temple and in the Visitors Center. The Hawaii Temple was so beautiful. Summer lives around the corner from it so everyday we would pass it, and it would take my breath away every time. We went to Pearl Harbor which was really cool because it was a few days away from the anniversary. We got to see some veterans that were there on that day it happened. I had one sign in a book I had bought for Bryce. We swam with the big fish in Hanama Bay and walked along Waikiki Beach. We went to the Dole Pineapple plantation and rode the train. We spent an entire day at the Polynesian Cultural Center. That was a blast. We had dinner and went the night show "Breath of Life". We hiked up into Waimea Falls, which was so beautiful, and had lunch at the top where the waterfall is. They were filming a movie there which was kinda cool. We took the kids to the Sea Life Park were we saw dolphin shows. We spent an afternoon parked on the Lanikai Beach in Kailua. Its one of the best beaches in the world. The sand was like flour. We did so many amazing things, but more than all of that my favorite was spending time with my sister in her cute little apartment. It just felt so good to be with her and her family and let the kids all play. We were in tight quarters, with the girls on a blowup mattress, but it was better than any hotel had to offer. I will never forget this vacation and the generosity I experienced! I totally miss London and Caprese and hope to see them before they are all grown up! Brian better finish school fast!

Halloween Day in Logan!

We went up to Logan for the first time in a long time for Halloween. Our neighbors in Provo, the Tews, were up in Logan with family also. They stopped by and we got some pictures. It rained the whole time while trick-or-treating. Sailor and Crew only went for a little bit and Paige and Cage were die hards and did the whole ward. So fun!

Sailor and her teacher happened to both be bumblebee's. I made Sailor use her dance costume for halloween. Paige picked a 40's sailor girl costume. We took them to a party where Paige especially loved. She walked up and down the catwalk while watching herself on the TV screen. She was so funny and cute dancing. She really let loose and totally shocked me. I guess all those nights that Bryce dances with them is paying off.

Sailor finally learned how to ride a bike. Her friend Madi had learned awhile back and she just decided one day to take off the training wheels and go. She literally just rode the bike right off. I was shocked. And cute Cashy loves riding the girls barbie car!

First Day of School

Finally, after the long summer of playing, the girls started school. I feel horrible loving that they will be gone for part of the day, but my sanity my be more important. Paige started 2nd grade and Sailor is in kindergarten. The school started a full day kindergarten class at the last minute and Sailor got in. So that means I'm home with just Cash all day. This is great because it allows me to work doing eyelash extension for part of the day while Cash naps. I always love these first day of school pictures because it's so early in the morning and the sun is always in our eyes.

Cash turns 2!

We celebrated Cash's birthday in Logan going to the little park and zoo they have there. We did Seven Peaks as a family and had cake. I can't believe 2 years have come and gone. He now is obsessed with Buzz and Woody since his cake and new Woody jammies. He calls them his Buzz jammies. Soon he will realize they are Woody. He is talking so much and says a new word everyday. Some words I'm not sure what it is he is saying. I've just figured out the month long mystery of the word "Baby Habva", he means London who is his cousin. He has a hard time saying the "SH" sound, so he calls his shoes "thooze". He still refuses to try and say his name. He calls himself, Baby. I take Cash to Little Gym every week. He is obsessed with the "jumpy jumps", bubbles and "backetball". He is out of control there. It is probably my favorite time of the whole week watching him go so spazzy. He literally squeals and screams he gets so excited. He is quite the daredevil. He just peed in the toilet for the first time the other day. I think it was a fluke because he hasn't since, but will get toilet paper and wipe and flush. He also is now reverting back to baby bottles. He asks for "juice baba" everyday, and when he says "peez"(please) I can't resist.

Bear Lake

I love Bear Lake. I grew up going there every summer. It really feels like home to me there. There is a smell and feel in Bear Lake that just feels so good. Everyone had so much fun playing in the water and the sand.

Cash is almost 2. He sure looks good in pink. This is how Cash likes to fall asleep with his blanket over his head. He calls his blanket dee-dawl. Weird! He says so many words but won't say his own name. He yells for me in his crib by calling me by my first name.

Sailor Leigh turns 5!

Sailors birthday (June 26th) was a fun filled day. We started out with presents like we always do. If you notice in the picture she is wearing her favorite Pj's with this headband that I bought from my friend Carlie for a buck. It is always worn as more of a sweatband across her forehead than ever on top of her head. Still to this day the headband has to be worn with the Pj's to bed. She also creates outfits that will go with the headband. I didn't realize that it would be such a hit. After presents we did the Provo City children's parade. We decorated their bikes and went with the crowd showing our true American pride. Then my cute grandma drove from SLC to give Sailor the dress she is wearing in the picture. Sailor loved her present from Grandma Great. Then we had a Wizard Of Oz camp out Pj party in my in-laws yard. Sailor picked the theme because she found the Birthday Express magazine and saw lollipops on the Wizard of Oz theme page. So she was adamant that she have a party with the big round lollipops. If you notice I spent hours making the rainbow cupcakes. I know, I know, I'm tooting my horn, but it took forever layering each color in the paper liners. I thought they were so cute:) Anyway, Sailor is such a great kid. She is always so happy and smiley. She is constantly kissing me all the time. Sometimes I have to remind her that I'm not her boyfriend but her mommy and the kisses should be really short. She is always singing and wanting to play dress-up. She is going to be starting kindergarten and is so excited. I can't wait to see who she becomes. I think something great!

So Summer will probably kill me for posting these pictures of her because no one thinks they look cute when they check in the hospital, but I think she looks gorgeous so I'm doing it anyway. I love my little Caprese (we call her presey). She was born June 18 and was so tiny. I have loved holding her and getting to know her. She is such a great little baby. I got to watch her today and she melts my heart. Summer and Brian are moving to Hawaii to finish school so I'm going to miss them so much. I love my sis and her cute family! I promise to try to come visit!

Dance Recitals

We loved doing the dance recitals as a family. Paige and Sailor took from separate places so we were able to make each one of them feel special by having their own night. Flowers are a must now. How can you get out of flowers when they are given them once? You can't and then they start asking where their flowers are for things like singing in school at Christmas programs.

Paige had such a great year in Mrs. Nicolli's 1st grade class. She made many new friends and kept some great friends she had made in kindergarten. Mrs. Nicolli loved Paige but always wanted her to pay a little more attention. Funny huh? Us girls like going to LaLa Land sometimes:) Sailor had some great teachers for preschool also. Mrs. Mulliner is my all-time most favorite. There is such a genuine sweetness about her. My kids love her! Isn't funny how fast a school year can go bye? Summertime here we come....

Fairy Tea Party Here We Come...

These pictures went totally out of order, but you get the idea. So cute!! The girls had such a blast watching ballerinas dance and then doing the fairy catwalk and bowing to the king. We ate cute little fairy snacks and got to meet all the little fairies walking around. I think this will always be a tradition for us girls! I loved that the main head fairy in charge of all of it, is named Courtney.

Seriously, where has the time gone? I know I keep saying that, but this feels like just yesterday. I was looking at these pictures of Paige and thinking that she reminds me so much of Cash. I couldn't help but post them being it was just her birthday and these are the earliest pictures I have on my computer of her. When my friend took pictures of us in Logan it was the first for me on a digital camera. Isn't it weird to think of pictures before digital cameras? I know I was probably a little behind the times even then, but it is so fun to go back and look and have them on the computer. I can't even remember the feeling of just having Paige in my life. It was such a fun stage for me. We were best friends. I remember waking up and eating eggs for breakfast while we watched reruns of Dawson's Creek and The Wiggles. We would go on walks everyday and have chips and guacamole for lunch. We would wait for Bryce to get home from work and then go visit the dogs and the horses across the street. One of my happiest times in my life. It was so simple and easy. Boy, life can really get hard and change. I wish I could go back then and start again. She had so much personality. I love her so much!

My Paigey Girl turned 7

What a fun couple of days. Paige had such a great birthday. She had begged to get a bigger bike, and was so thrilled to see we had listened. I decided to surprise her and have lunch with her at school. I love school lunch! I remember loving the green beans and now they get the option of chocolate milk. YUM! Well... kind of yum, the chocolate milk that is. We then went outside and played with her friends for recess. The next day we took a bunch of her friends to Seven Peaks for an ice skating party. It was seriously a blast. I really got to skate with the kids and enjoy myself. For sure one of my favorite parties ever. It was so fun to watch the girls pick up on skating. Sailor was cruising around with that walker thing they offer the little kids. I'm so sad another birthday has come and gone! I love Paige so much. She is my tender heart. She is constantly a worrier. I swear I get asked on a daily basis if something is going to kill her, like for example just now she asked if she was going to get a heart problem because she licked a toy sword she got at a birthday party today and it tasted weird. She called me while at a movie in tears because she thought she was going to die because she blew on a whistle my sister courtney had blown on before she died 8 years ago. Just so intense about everything, germs, a red spot on her body, looking at the sun. I just LOVE this child!

He is showing me his teeth. He is obsessed with the tooth brush and teeth. He will stand on the stool in the bathroom and say teeth over and over until you get out his tooth brush and then he has to dip it in the water over and over. He loves his blankie and calls it deedee. He is such a great climber. I'm still so shocked at the temperament of boys vs. girls. He is very aggressive and will hit you hard if he is mad or doesn't get what he wants. PS. He is still a daddy's boy, and doesn't give me the time of day.

My cute friend Becky Kimball took these pictures of us. I thought she did such an awesome job. I've been waiting to post them until we sent out our the christmas cards. She was so great to meet us outside of her work at the Wells Fargo building in downtown Provo and take our pictures. From start to finish it was only 1/2 hour. I felt we were a total mess (well, me mostly) with my skirt being completely pinned in the back, only half of my hair was done (the back wasn't dried or curled), and everyone was freezing. Thank-you Becky for such beautiful work! We hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and Santa comes to their house. I can't wait to start a new year. I'm hopeful that 2010 will be so much better!

Christmas Dance Performances

Sailor had her dance performance in the day, then we rushed to a family Christmas party, and then went to Paige's performance that night. It was so cute, a lot of effort, but so fun. Sailor and Paige did such a great job. Sailor and Paige look for any reason to put on make-up and yesterday was heaven for them. It is so fun to keep watching them look at themselves in the mirror. After every picture I would take of Sailor she would want to look at it. Sailor goes to dance with her friend Alexis and Paige goes with her friend Grace. They both had Santa at the end of their performances. We tried to get Cash to see Santa, but he was scared like every other kid is. I thought he would be fine because he kept walking up to him and then would run back to us. Every time he would get a little closer, but nope, scared! PS I love that my girls expect flowers after every performance. That was the first thing Paige asked me yesterday was if she was getting flowers.

Santa Lucia Day

So the tradition goes that the oldest girl dresses up and serves cookies/food to the rest of the family. I grew up dressing up at my grandma house because I was the oldest grandchild. So Paige was able to dress up and serve us swedish chocolate, cheese and crakers, and spritz cookies. Summer (my sis) and I went up to my grandmas house and she taught us how to make spritz cookies. Paige wore my wreath my mom had bought me along time ago. She felt so special being able to do that. It will be a fun tradition to carry on with my family since my kids are more swedish than I am.

Santa Lucia Festival

On December 12, we took the kids to the annual Santa Lucia Festival. They have a program in swedish and then a dinner. Since Bryce and I both have swedish in our blood I have decided to carry on some of the traditions I have done with my grandmother. It is so fun to do some of these extra things around the holidays. It really was a magical moment in the program when the santa lucia girls followed by star boys came down the aisle singing the santa lucia song. The song is really pretty to hear and the lights were off in the auditorium with only the candles lit. I loved that part, the rest was a little boring because I do not understand swedish. Sailor came dressed in an outfit Bryce and I bought when we were in Sweden a few years ago. Sailor thought she was so beautiful in it. Take notice of the last picture of their version of Santa Claus. So ugly huh? I think he is called Tom Tom, maybe? And I think he is supposed to be dwarf size.

Once there was a snowman...

The first snow made it this winter, and Bryce braved building the snowman with the kids again. I, of course, sat my warm bottom inside and watched. Cashy went outside for a little bit, but he kept taking off his gloves and I could tell he was cold so I brought him in. He wasn't too happy watching his big sister have all the fun. I love how mad he is watching at the window!

What a great birthday! I wish I could freeze myself at this age with my kids. It is such a great stage in life to be. I woke up to a new shirt and new shoes. I has so much fun with high school friends the night before and my sister-in-laws for lunch. Bryce and I caught a movie and dinner. And it was great. I am so lucky to have so many friends and family who I love so much. Thanks for all the birthday wishes! And the shopping mom!

A Witchy Hallloween

Halloween was so much fun this year. It was the warmest Halloween in a long time. It always makes it so much more fun when you are not freezing too death. This year my sis and I went to Gardner Village to the witches extravaganza. We met up with sister friends Melissa and Tiffany and all of our cute kiddos. It was so much fun. We went on the hay ride to a witches house and the witches told us all about their magic and potions. We buried a cockroach in their cemetery and learned about what they use in their bath. We then caught the beginning of all the witches coming in for the witches night out, and let me tell you, their were so many witches you could barely walk around. My kids were fascinated with all of them and their elaborate costumes. We also did a friends Halloween party at a park and the kids got to trick-or-treat and decorate pumpkins. And then out Halloween tradition is to meet up at aunt Kristin's for soup and doughnuts and trick-or-treating. The cousins all love to see each other dressed up. We decided to be Wizard Of Oz this year except Bryce never did dress up with us. We wanted him to be the tin man or the scarecrow. Somehow at last minute Bryce grabbed the Nacho Libra costume and put it on again for the family to scream at. It's quite a sight....I couldn't make myself post the picture again. :)

Cheer Camp

Timpview Cheer Camp. It was so cold this year. The girls did the Orem High cheer camp this year as well but it was much more pleasant. The Orem High camp was in September and the girls loved it. They were totally getting into the cheers and did a great half time. Paige kept kicking her leg in the air and was really moving. Then we did the Timpview camp and because it was so cold they literally just stood there. Sailor at half time didn't do one part of her dance. We will know for next year to make sure we stick to the earlier ones that are warmer.

First Day of School

Paige is in 1st grade and is gone all day. She loves here teacher and her friends. She especially loves to have school lunch. She is so smart and in such great kid. Sailor is in preschool and is doing the reading program and I am so surprised at how well she is reading. It is just clicking with her. She loves her teacher Mrs. Mulliner. Mrs. Mulliner is my very favorite of any teachers my kids have had in any kind of school. She really is the best and is so motivating to my kids. I hope she is still working when Cashy is in preschool.

Since I have been the worst blogger and so much time has passed I thought for my own records I would post some summer shots. They are not in any order which I hate that blogger does that but ohh well it's faster then doing each picture individually. So here are some randoms of us in St George at the Facers house for 4th of July. We swam our hearts out and went and saw Annie at Tuacahn. Jalynn feed us the most amazing food all weekend. Thanks to Mykelle and Riley for having us come with them and A BIG THANKS to the Facers for letting us stay in their beautiful house. What a great family. We just love them! There are also pictures of when my in-laws came home from their mission at the airport. It was so great to see them for a little bit before they had to head back. We miss them so much and my kids are dying to have their sleepover with grandma and have her do manicures, pedicures and read stories. She promised them that when she left again and I am still hearing about it. Their is a picture of Cash dressed as a girl that I found on my camera. I guess when the babysitter was here they thought that would be funny. Such a cute Boy/Girl! Also some pictures of BYU summer camp. The girls had so much fun learning there. Paige studied all summer about butterflies, and Sailor about recycling. They also did a music camp and learned all about composers and instruments. We had such a great summer and I am missing the warm weather and the tan so much!

Cash's 1st Birthday!

So a whole year has gone by and I cannot believe it. It seems like just yesterday Cash was born. It was so fun to plan a little birthday party with 7 other babies. It was fun to have all the babies the same age so they were all at the same level. We did a farm themed party at the park. I had my friend Amy bring her little dog Phoebe to play with. Then we played in the pool with the balls. My favorite part was when they all painted with pudding on place mats. Cash was a superstar. He really got into it. It was funny to see the different personalities of the babies. Some were more reserved and didn't get into it as much, but for the most part every baby went to town with their pudding. Since they were all dirty we let them dig into his cake. Again Cash was the star of the show. It's so funny because my girls were both more careful about getting dirty on there first birthdays. Not Cashy! I was a proud mama! Thanks to everyone for coming and spending the day with us.

Just to remember as his mom: Cash is just starting to stand up by himself with out holding onto anything. He says mama (which means nu-ma for food), ball, dada, wo-wo (when he sees a dog), ba-bye, uh-oh, he shakes his head no, claps, plays peek-a-boo. I'm trying to get him to drink cows milk, so I'm doing half formula, half milk. His birthday was the last time I nursed him. I'm so sad about it. He is a great sleeper now. He gets so excited to go to bed and snuggle his blue barefoot dreams blanket. There is a square in the middle of the blanket that I think is made out of silk and he loves to bite on it. He seriously is the fastest crawler in the world. He has figured out how to turn around and then stand up in his highchair. So now I have to really strap him in. He loves to pull the drawers open and pull everything out as fast as he can. He will watch me to see if I see him, and then if I start to go to stop him he will just pull faster before I get to him. I can see a little bit of the boy destructive personality everyone has been telling me about. I love that he is SO boy. He is just so chunky! He weighs 23 pounds. I love having a boy, it is so much fun to buy boy stuff. I can't wait to see what he is like in a year from now. I'm just so in love!

Sailor turns FOUR!

What a birthday we had! My little monkey is four now, and we had quite the celebration for her. I told her that she could pick any birthday she wanted (theme) and originally it was Hello Kitty. For months she talked about it. Then the week before we got one of those "Birthday Celebration" magazines and she saw a Hawaiian themed party in there and she was sold. I wasn't quite sure how I was going to do it, but it seemed to all come together. We rented a big jump house and had little swimming pools. Everything was set up and looked so great. The party started at 4:00 and by 4:40 the rain started to fall. Seriously, of all days? The whole week was beautiful weather and of course so was Saturday. But Friday, her birthday, it's the one day that it rains. So my luck! So we all huddled in under the tent and were able to eat and sing Happy Birthday. It was kinda cozy and fun. The kids ate under the picnic tables and the adults stayed under the tent (thank-you Claudia). It seemed to be clearing a little so I went in to make the pina coladas, and of course my mom comes in ten minutes later and says that it is raining hard and the wind is blowing. So they started taking all the decorations down and moved the party in the garage to open presents. Oh well, it will be a party to remember. I think the kids had a blast. Luckily they didn't care about the rain. P.S. I have a great source for cakes. Sailors cake was so cute, yummy and cheap ($28)!

All I want for Christmas is.....my two front teeth. It finally happened. They are both gone. I was getting so worried that the one tooth would come in before she lost the other tooth. I am loving the way she is talking with her lisp. I keep trying to get her to say funny things with lost of S's. It is so cute, but sometimes it makes me sad to see her continue to get so big. I swear the clock never slows down.

Happy 34th Birthday Booza Man!

Bryce turned the big 34. He is getting so old. We had such a quiet birthday this year. We saw Angels and Demons and went to dinner with some of his family. The best part of his birthday I would say was the presents the girls picked out for him. I took the girls to Honks (a dollar store) and gave them each three dollars. Paige picked out a skull key chain, some cologne (awesome!), and a padded navy blue diploma holder. She thought he could put a picture in where the diploma should go. I have to say her gifts were much more thought out then Sailors. So Say-Say ran around wanting everything, but finally decided on, here goes....black scissors, yellow plates, and green napkins. I so wish I could have been in her mind as she thought these were the best picks of all. She is such funny kid. The best part is when she saw the items she said "This is what daddy would LOVE". So probably not the best birthday, but still super fun!

Cage and Crew stay a few days...

So my little 5-year-old twin brothers came to stay for a few days. I think I totally exhausted them. We went everywhere. I packed in Thanksgiving Point (twice), Jumping Jacks, a carnival, and Temple Square all in three days. We had so much fun. But the best part is the looks everyone gives me when I am hauling 5 kids ages 6 and under. The people think I am crazy! I just smile and keep on walking. My girls were in heaven having them here for so long. It was the first time they had ever stayed at my house. It was a little hard trying to please all 5 of them. I think Crew was mad at Bryce and I because we tried to get him to eat the dinner we had prepared and he thought it was gross. I just told my mom that I wasn't making 5 different meals to please them all. I guess Crew will learn that real soon when he has to eat school lunch. I have total sympathy for my sis-in-law Kristin and all her young kids. It can be exhausting, but so much fun. I love my little brothers. They both have such different personalities, but are both so sweet. They have such huge hearts and are going to be great men, I'm sure of it.

In the middle of May we took the kids and my little brothers to see my Grandma play at the Joseph Smith Building. My Grandmother plays the piano there on Wednesday nights. It was so much fun to see her and listen to the beautiful music. She has a friend that plays the violin along with her and everyone that comes in just stops to listen because it is so amazing. I love my grandma so much and it feels so great to be able to support her finally in some small way. She has always been a constant in my life. I don't think she has ever missed a birthday party, piano/dance recital, or anything that was important to me. She is always there for everything. I love her with all my heart!

So last year my sister-in-law (Mykelle) and I were on the "Ellen Degeneres Mother's Day Baby Shower Show". IT WAS INCREDIBLE! We had so much fun. Ellen gave her audience tons of free baby stuff (stroller/car seat, crib, bedding, bouncy chair, diapers, meals, TV, baby monitor, diaper bag...etc). We couldn't have been more thrilled for all the free stuff. So yesterday was her 2009 baby shower show and I sent in a couple pictures of my cute little Cash to see if they would show him as a baby that was born from the year before. SURE ENOUGH, he was on there. They had three different segments were they showed the babies from the year before and he was on the 2nd and 3rd segment. Then there is another segment with "An expectant mother wins a car" and you see him by Ellens head a lot. He had great positioning I might say. So much fun to watch!!! So my Paigey Girl lost her top front tooth and learned how to ride a bike all in one day. I've got to say, it's a little too much growing up for me in just one day. As much as I am excited to see her getting older, it kinda breaks my heart. I beg my girls every night before bed to "stop growing up". Of course they just laugh, but I sincerely mean it. I can't tell you how many pictures we have of Paige with her "horsey teeth" as Bryce calls them. She sucked on a binkie until she was four and as a result we got these awesome choppers. Then the sad part is when you get one child that is big the other one wants to be as big, so they grow up even faster. I guess that is why you keep having babies, so there is always someone that is little. Boy, I sure love my girls.

Easter Eggcitment!!!

Easter was kind of low-key this year. We usually party it up with my in-laws, but the are on the forever mission (can't complain they are halfway already). So we celebrated Easter with the bunny this year on Saturday and left Sunday to be about Christ. That worked out really well for us. I think I'm going to try to do that from now on. I had to do sharing time on Sunday in Primary and I learned so much about what Christ went through before he was killed. I can't believe the whole story (knowing he is going to die, being betrayed, freeing Barrabas, apostles falling asleep, being denied..etc). Can you believe it? Maybe everyone already knows all this but me. Anyway, it was a great Easter getting to know Christ a little better. I'm just so thankful! PS. Thanks to Summer Whalen for putting on the most amazing Easter Egg Hunt!! We had so much fun. I think it doubled in size from last year. I promise I'll contribute next year:)

Bryce has been begging me to give Cash a summer buzz. So I finally gave in. As ugly as the strip of hair is on the bottom of his head and the leftover long wispy hairs at the top of his head, I was so sad. Even though his hair was somewhat hideous, it was the most adorable thing to me. Why is it so hard to make the change? I think those few hairs were reminders of him as a newborn. Babies just grow up way too fast. I hate it, but I love it.

So Cashy Coozie is now 7 1/2 months. I can't believe how time flies. He is the cutest baby in the world. I am just in love! He is always smiling and laughing and sticking out his tongue. He has totally stopped taking bottles and is only nursing. Needless to say, I am his favorite. I call him "my little Edward". If you have read the vampire books, you will know what I mean. He never takes his eyes off of me, he's always attacking me with his mouth, and I know he can smell me. It's why I have said he is like a possessive boyfriend. But I'm loving every minute of it. I know it won't be long before he discovers that his daddy is the fun and cool parent.

So much fun!! We had a blast! Last night Becky, Beth, Mindy and I went to the Dodo for dinner and then headed over to the concert. It was so much fun to have a girls night out without kids, although there were some kids their at the concert. What were these parents thinking. I loved having the small intimate environment. Anywhere you went you could see her really well. Paige asked me this morning if Ariel was at the kiss the girl concert. Isn't that so hilarious. She must have heard me on the phone telling someone about one of her songs. I told her that Ariel was there and it was so much fun. P.S. Our Texas Trip!

So I took Paige to Texas to see her best friend Aurora. They live in Spring, Texas. We had so much fun in the warm weather. I had to take Cash with me since he is attached to me at all times. I didn't have the heart to live him with anyone in fear they would never talk to me again. Kelly, Aurora's mom, is also one of my best friends. While the girls played we sat on the couch with our babies and gabbed. I've never met anyone who can talk like Kelly. There is never a boring/silent minute. I love that we can talk about the dumbest things and be totally entertained. We had fun watching the girls take off on there riding lesson. They were gone for over an hour on an adventure. The girls both thought that was the most fun of the time they had together. It was fun watching them bust up while the horses were peeing. Kids think that is so funny. We took them to Walmart to get their nails and toes painted. Paige kept telling Aurora that we were going to the "salon". We also went to dinner to celebrate her birthday and the whole restaurant sang to her and we ended up getting our whole meal for free. It was great! Thanks Kelly and family for letting us come stay and play. We love you so much and miss you everyday!

We met up with my parents to celebrate Paige and my twin brothers, Cage and Crew birthdays. We played at my Grandma's house and then took them to McDonald's play land for some fun. My brothers just turned 5. They are getting so big and cute. I love their personalities. They are so different from each other but so much fun to be around. My parents gave Paige for her birthday my sister Courtney's American Doll, Kirsten. It is so special to have this doll and her clothes to remind me of her. Courtney would be so excited to know that Paige has them. Paige hasn't been able to let her out of her sight. Bryce and I gave her Kit for her birthday, so now she has two of them. We took her to Kiddie Kandids to get her 6 year-old picture taken and she insisted that the dolls be in the picture with her. It was adorable. I love Paige so much. She is the best little girl. She is so obedient and smart. I feel so lucky to be her mom!

Paige's birthday was filled with lots of family and friends. She was able to invite a few friends, Halle, Abbie, and Addie to Dear Lizzie for lunch. Her friend Halle has her same birthday so it is always fun bringing her with us. We had a great time talking about their favorite princesses and the funny names their dad's call them. Paige told them how her dad calls her "beef chimichangas with double extra cheese", "stinky dog" and "doggie-ria". The girls were laughing so hard I thought they were going to pee their pants. We then met up with all of her aunts, uncles and cousins for bowling. They had lots of fun all together. She had a Tinkerbell cake and got lots a presents. Thanks to everyone for making Paige's birthday so special!

I love my baby boy so much. I thought getting our pictures taken just the two of us would be a piece of cake. Boy, was I wrong. I thought this would be 20 minutes, but it turned out to be almost 2 hours. I was shocked that even a few turned out between all the crying. I always get pictures taken of me with the babies in their blessing clothes. I pick my favorite and blow it up to put in their rooms. I copied the idea from my aunt Becky and my sister-in-law Kristin. I've worn this same dress in all three pictures with my kids. It is the dress that I wore at my wedding luncheon. It's totally hideous now, but it's all white and it works. Luckily the babies always cover most of it. I'm so in love with this baby. I love having a boy. He is totally high-maintenance, but still so adorable. He is now 5 months and is very big. He probably weighs about 19 pounds. My back is seriously killing me!

So I finally braved the family picture. Does anyone dread them like I do? Does it almost seem as though you need magical powers to accomplish them? I swear I need to physically gear up for a couple of days. In between telling Sailor to stop tilting her head so it touched her shoulder, Paige with a fake smile that created a double chin, and having to whip out the feeding device for Cash so he would stop crying, I'm shocked we got a few of the whole family that turned out. After the blessing we went to Lowell and Judy's house and had soup and salads and the yummiest cookies. Ok so the cookies are these lemon drop cookies that you get at Cookies By Design. They seriously are the best things ever!!! They taste like lemon bars, but better. We had so much fun hanging out with all of our family and friends. We feel so blessed to have such a wonderful support system. My family are my best friends! Thanks for coming and sharing your love for baby Cash!

Paige had her Thanksgiving Feast in kindergarten. I was able to come help set up and serve the kids. Bryce made a potato soup for the kids that was amazing. It was so cute to watch the kids act so grown up. Paige said she was thankful for "everything" (so creative). This is her friend Grace. Gracie is a twin and she lives next to my in-laws. They have lots of fun together and it has been fun getting to know Gracie's mom Kristen.

So I met up with an old friend Carrie Wagstaff for a day of play at the Dinosaur Museum. It was so fun to see her and her beautiful kids, Luke and Whitney. Carrie and I have been friends since Bryce and I got married. We lived right by each other and I think spent everyday with together for months while living by her and Trent. We had so much fun with one another and our crazy husbands. It was so much fun catching up and talking about the good old days. You know those days... no kids, and you could just up and go and do anything at any moment. Drinks runs, late movies, sleeping in, keeping your house clean all day were some of my favs. I'm so glad Carrie and I have stayed friends. BTW Carrie you look amazing!!

My new little niece, Adelaide Estelle, was born on my 30th birthday. I couldn't be more excited to share my birthday with this precious little angel. She wasn't due until November 13, but decided to come 10 days early on the 3rd. She is so tiny and sweet. She is the daughter of Mykelle (Bryce's sister) and Riley Facer. I was so mad that I was in Vegas and wasn't able to see her on our birthday. She is going to have a special place in my heart forever. I hope she will love me as much as I love her. It was so fun to go spend some time with them and hold her. Cash looked like a tank next to her. It's unbelievable that they are only 2 1/2 months apart. Cash looks like he is 5 months sitting next to her. Adelaide is going to have so much fun being a little sister to Bella Boozie! I sure love all these beautiful girls!!!

Cheesecake Factory was amazing!! So the artichoke appetizer is one of my favorites. Also I have always thought the White Chocolate Raspberry cheescake was the best until.....Dulce de Leche! Thanks to Anika I found a new favorite. So I had so much fun with the girls for lunch. Thanks Susie, Jessica, Anika, Heather, Jennie, Katy, Paige and Mykelle for helping me celebrate. I'm sad that some of my friends couldn't make it because of jobs, baby showers and last minute sicknesses. Next year, Right! Viva Las Vegas!!

So I turned the big 30 in Vegas. I can't believe I am already 30 years old! Bryce and the kids had tons of fun walking the strip and I mostly hung out in the room with room service and movies. Taking a two month old anywhere isn't the easiest, but we survived. We went to the zoo at the Mirage and I got a friend to babysit while we went to the Paris and ate at Mon Ami Gabi. We stayed at the Venetian, which was amazing! It kind of feels good to have the birthday over with. All of the anticipation was killing me. Leaving your 20's is hard to do!

So every Halloween we have been going to my Sis-in-law Kristins house for dinner and trick-or-treating. Kristin always is up for having everyone over so the kids can see each other and the adults can hang. We have made it a tradition for us because our kids don't have anyone their age in the neighborhood to trick-or-treat with. Kristin always does a yummy soup, donuts and wassel. So I finally met up with my parents and twin little brothers Cage and Crew. We had the kids dress up in their halloween costumes so they could see each other. They had such a great time. After my girls were so sad to leave Grandma, Grandpa and the boys. It is so fun having my girls close in age to my brothers so they can play. After the museum my parents took us to Z Tejas to get my favorite pecan-crusted chicken spinach salad. It seriously is the best. So we braved Cornbelly's and the Scarecrow Festival all in one day. The kids had so much fun with some of their cousins. Even Cash came and had some fun! I love the fall time and halloween is one of my favorite holidays. It's nice to have the weather cool down and it not be so hot. Although, that means winter is coming and I really hate being cold. Cashy is starting to get a little meat on his bones. I love when they start to fill out. He just hit his two month mark and we had to say good bye to the 0-3 month clothes. So sad! The car seat is already getting heavy. He has been smiling so much. Nothing makes me happier. He still is being difficult at night. I wish I knew how to get my babies on a schedule. However, the other night he slept through the whole night and I was so excited until.... I found out bryce had given him some childrens nightime NyQuil. That little sneak of a husband. I could kill him!

Ok, so for all of my friends who live far away, finally here is a picture of Cash's room. Some things I think turned out, and some I would change if I had more money. I have known I wanted to do gray and orange, but had such a hard time finding this color of orange, so you can see my lame attempt to add more orange in painting canvases and the cheesy letter. It is so hard when you have girls first and get furniture that goes with their stuff and then have to switch it to boy. I do love my tree on the wall! Someday, maybe this monkey will actually sleep in his room.

First Day of SCHOOL!

My girls are growing up and I hate it. Paige started kindergarten at Rock Canyon Elementary and Sailor started preschool. I think I would have shed a few tears, but with no sleep I barely was able to keep my eyes open. I am so excited for them to meet some new friends and have some fun. Sailor tells me that Ms. Silva tells her to, "zip it, lock it, put it in your pocket".

Our sweet little boy finally made it here. He was born Monday 8.18.08 (i'm so excited about the date). I got started on the pitossin about 7:30 am and had him at 12:55 pm. He was 8 lbs. 9 oz. asn 20 1/2 inches long. Bryce said he would have "weighed in" more had he not peed all over Dr. Thorup and in the plastic bin. He is adorable and I couldn't love him more. I have to say I was a little nervous having a boy, but he has my heart! We are so grateful that he is healthy and everything went great. We appreciate all the love and support we have had at this special time.

Tomorrow is going to be the big day!!! We couldn't be more excited. It finally came to having to be induced. I was so hoping to go on my own, but I guess this way you can really be prepared. I've had my hopes up for the last two weeks with all of the contractions. I didn't contract with either of the girls so everyday I thought, "this is it". Then I would wake up in the morning ticked that I'd slept through the night. I will be 39 weeks tomorrow and he will get the birthday of 8.18.08 which is pretty cool. I wanted 8.8.08, but oh well. This last week has been really hard. I had both of my girls at 38 weeks and to have to go one extra week is a killer. It's funny how after 38 weeks each day gets so much worse. Well, it will be all over tomorrow. I just hope everything goes well and he is healthy.

So my cute in-laws left August 9th to Singapore on a public affairs mission. We were so sad to see them leave. We went up for one last dinner and the girls went to pick flowers with Grandma in the yard. It is going to be so hard not having them right here in Provo with us. But, I am so excited for their new adventure. I hope at some point we can go visit them. We were trying so hard to have this baby before they left. I'm sad that the baby is coming only 8 days after they have left. Ohh well, that's the luck, right?

Today my sister Courtney would have turned "22". It's so hard to not have her here with us to celebrate. It's been 6 years since she passed and we miss her so much. I took the girls to there favorite place (Dear Lizzie) for lunch. We always like to do something special to celebrate her life. Courtney would love Dear Lizzie with all of it's sparkles and fun. My girls are always so cute about asking about her. They really want to know what she is doing in heaven. It's been a really long 6 years not seeing her. Hopefully someday soon we can all be together as a family. I miss you Court and love you so much!

I got together with all of my high school friends (minus a few) for a baby shower. Sallie was so cute to put the whole thing together. We met up at Gatway for dinner and lots of laughs. Paige, one of my high school best friends finally took the plunge. This was a very special wedding for me becasue not only is she one of my closest and dearest friends, but she married my neighbor all growing up. Plus my dad married them and my mom decorated all the tables. It was a family affair. Even my sister Summer and her baby London made it to the wedding from Florida. We are finally getting our baby boy. My mom dragged me to fetal fotos at 15 weeks to find out. We are not very patient in our family. Im 20 weeks tomorrow and am excited to be getting closer. Sailor had her performance day at Little Gym. She LOVES her class. She starts asking on Monday, "today Little Gym"? Then I say "no two days". She will nod and say "ok, two days". And then will ask every morning until the day.

I know everyone is wondering if I am still alive. Yes I still am. Sorry to all of my friends and the blogging world for being so lazy these last few months. I promise I have a great excuse....I'm pregnant! I know, it was a surprise to us also. All those out there with IUD's be careful. It happened to me. So I am about 14 weeks pregnant and and due in August. Could there be a hotter month to be fat and pregnant? Anyway, I'm feeling like the dark ugly cloud is lifting and I might just have a little more energy. Although, I was still too lazy to go get my camera downstairs and upload pictures. So, I decided to put these up of my girls I had taken for Christmas that were already on my computer. It is fitting since I owe them and my husband a great big "thank-you" for being so patient with me. My family is my world. I think I have the most amazing and beautiful girls. I feel so lucky for all that the Lord has blessed me with. Thanks also to all of my wonderful friends and extended family for all of the support and help lately. I appreciate all of the vistits and phonecalls. I feel so loved!

Sorry about the millions of pictures...I got carried away! We took a family vacation with the girls and some really close friends, the Burkinshaws. We have been friends with the Burkinshaws for a long time. Bryce and Ryan met in the MTC, and Janae and I have been frinds since we lived in Arizona 5 Years ago. It was so fun to spend time with friends that feel like family. Paige and Navie got along so well, and Sailor adored Blakley. Their baby Jag was a dream child. We went to the Big Island of Hawaii for the first time. It was beautiful. The island has an active volcano and tons of lava rock everywhere. It was quiet and peaceful. We played everyday at the beach and in the swimming pools. I had such a great week being with my family that I got tears in my eyes when we had to say goodbye. Thanks Ryan, Janae, and kids for helping make our vacation one we will never forget! We love you!

We had such a fun weekend in Logan with my family for Thanksgiving. We played a family football game followed by an amazing dinner. My mom always knows how to make things looks so magical. It was fun to spend time with my Grandma Self, my aunts Brooke and Paige, and my cousin Gardner. Of course the highlight is always holding the best baby in the world London. We couldn't stop giving her kisses!

Mykelle and I did a segment for Studio 5 for a company called, "Shabby Apple". They sell dresses that go great over garments. Some of the dresses are actually cute. We had so much fun. We did kind of feel like retards. We looked like we were so stiff on TV because they told us not to really move. Ohh well, it was a great experience. Everyone there at Studio 5 was so nice. I think on the Shabby Apple website you can get a 10% off coupon if anyone is interested.

London Leigh is finally here...

Say Hello to my adorable niece, London Leigh Armstrong. She was born Monday, November 5 at 4:06 pm. I was so lucky I was able to watch her come into this world. She was 8 pounds 2 ounces and is 221/2 inches long. I cannot wait to get to hold her again. I already miss her. Summer did such a great job getting her here. Her epidural didn't totally work so it was kind of a hard delivery. I am so proud of Sum and I am so excited for her to be a mother. She looks just like Summer as a baby. In fact, one of the first things Sum said is, "She looks Polynesian".

I had such a great birthday! I just want to thank all of my cute family and all of my friends for their love.

I was able to spend a day celebrating with my family before my dad left to China. My mom always does the most amazing celebrations. Thanks mom for making me feel so loved!

Bryce is the cutest husband in the world. I woke up to presents and cards and then he took the kids for the day to let me get pampered with my sister Summer. Thanks Sum for spending the day with me. My cute high school friends took me to lunch and then I was able to spend the night with more family and friends. I just feel so lucky to have so many wonderful people in my life.

Sailor was a Kitty!

We had such a fun Halloween. We first went up to Logan to see my parents and little brothers Cage and Crew. They were such cute pirates! On Halloween we went to my sister-in-law Kristens house to have our annual dinner and trick-or-treat party. We had such a great night. Everyone looked awesome!

Paige begged to be Wonder Woman for two months. My cute friend Mary made her costume. She felt to cool. Thanks Mary, it looked great!

Bryce and Bryant decided to win the most hideous costume award. I don't think we have laughed that hard in a long time. Well, since the "Dumb and Dumber"costumes at Ashley's wedding. We love your sense of humor boys!

1. I love Halloween. I love to dress up and be someone else for a night. Plus I love haunted houses. I secretly always hope a vampire will bite me.
2. If you know me at all, you very well know that I feel ripped off that I wasn't able to go to highschool in the 80's. I'm obsessed with the 80's. I love the music, the hair, the movies. Can you imagine what my Prom pictures would have looked like with my hair? Pretty rad, huh?
3. All of my close friends know that for breakfast I go through the Crest drive-thru and get a 44 oz. half regular/half diet Dr. Pepper. Yes, I know it's horrible. I'm an addict. I call it my crack! How else am I supposed to have any energy? (Hence, the teething whitening never works.)
4. I have a foot phobia. I can't stand feet. Ok, so I do like baby feet. I've inherited the phobia from my mom who inherited it from her family. I always notice what peoples feet look like. My father-in-law thinks it's so funny to try and get me to rub his feet. I would probably rather die.
5. I've always been scared of dogs. I'm not an animal lover at all. I've always thought that meant I was cold-hearted. Maybe I am. I mean whats wrong with me? Who doesn't love animals?
6. Ok, so I'm going to let the cat out of the bag...I wash my hair every 5 days. Don't tell! I know it is so sick, but I do still bathe. All of my close friends know this, and I have even converted most of them. The trick is to get Bumble and Bumble hair powder. It soaks up all the grease. I'm not trying to promote poor hygiene, but it's amazing!

We are so excited to have our newest member to our family here. Lily Judith Lefrandt made her way here by a surprise C-section two weeks early. YEAH! She is so precious. My girls want to know when they get a baby like cousin Lily. I keep telling them, soon, really soon. I love the picture of Lily looking like she wants to eat Sailors rice crispy treat. Sailor had to sit in the cool bed with Ashy and get a picture. Good job Ash and Jon on making such a beautiful baby! We love you!
